The South Florida Civil Air Patrol (CAP) hosted a comprehensive Flight Clinic at the Marco Island Executive Airport from June 7-9, 2024, attended by approximately 30 mission pilots and check pilots from groups 5, 6, 7, and 9. This event aimed to enhance pilot proficiency, safety, and teamwork in preparation for the 2024 hurricane season, featuring check rides, proficiency flights, and classroom sessions on advanced aircrew coordination and emergency procedures. The clinic included hands-on training for cadets in aircraft marshaling and fuel testing, emphasizing real-world applications such as simulated search and rescue operations.
